[email protected]. I am committed to the defeat of the CBC who beg for our vote however, they do nothing for black people. The CBC is committed to the uplift of EVERY ethnic group BUT black people. Here, we discuss African American history and its significance. It can be a time of celebration for African American culture or a daunting time to be black in America. From police violence, mass immigration, as well as total disrespect by our elected black officials and CBC, there's a perception that Black Americans are unwanted and undervalued. Illegal immigrants seem to receive more rights and benefits than Black American citizens who bear the tax burden for various societal expenses. Now is the time to fortify the African American family structure. Not since the Reconstruction era have, we witnessed such overt, racist, and unjustified attacks on Black Americans, stemming from the teachings imparted to our white counterparts. They have been led to believe that their survival hinges on the subjugation and disenfranchisement of Black Americans.

This newsletter is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Amos Wilson – a fearless analyst of Black psychology and power.

The Misinformation Machine: Black Gatekeepers and the Cycle of Betrayal

Being a Black American in America means navigating a maze of deliberate misinformation, not just from the dominant society, but from those who look like us and claim to represent our interests. How long will we allow Black politicians and so-called gatekeepers to game us in service to the very systems that oppress us?

Mission Statement:

The mission of The Black Critical Thinker is to arm Black Americans with the knowledge to identify bad actors within our own ranks, to break the cycle of manipulation, and to build a culture of self-defense—politically, economically, and culturally.

Historical Context: The Politics of Betrayal

From the days of Reconstruction to the present, Black progress has been sabotaged not just by open racists, but by those who serve the interests of the dominant society under the guise of representation. Whether it was the "Uncle Toms" of the 19th century or the modern-day career politicians who trade our votes for empty promises, the result is the same: Black Americans remain at the bottom, denied justice, rights, and economic power.

History is filled with examples: Booker T. Washington's "go slow" approach appeased white power structures while denying Black aspirations for full equality. The 1960s saw certain civil rights leaders co-opted by political parties, diluting the revolutionary potential of the movement. In recent decades, we've witnessed Black mayors and city officials preside over the closing of Black schools, the gentrification of Black neighborhoods, and the militarization of police in our communities—all while claiming to champion Black interests.

Who benefits when Black leaders parrot talking points that keep us docile, divided, and dependent? Why do we see the same faces on TV every election cycle, telling us to "vote blue no matter who," while our schools close, our neighborhoods are over-policed, and our resources are siphoned away?

Rebuttal: Naming the Bad Actors

Let’s call it what it is: betrayal. The Black Congressional Caucus, many urban mayors, and the "legacy" civil rights organizations have become gatekeepers, not liberators. They collaborate with the dominant society, trading access and influence for personal gain while the masses suffer. These are the faces you see every February and October, showing up just in time for your vote, but never your justice.

We must remember that not all skin folk are kinfolk. Some of the most damaging policies—mass incarceration, school closures, and urban displacement—have been signed off by Black officials who answer to donors and party bosses, not the people. The cycle is maintained through media manipulation, celebrity distractions, and relentless appeals to "unity" that silence real dissent.

Solution: Breaking the Cycle and Building Defense

We must learn the true politics and culture of America and how these forces are weaponized against us. The only way to break the cycle is through:

  • Relentless education about the real history of Black political struggle
  • Identifying and neutralizing Black bad actors—those who serve the status quo
  • Organizing independent Black political and economic power bases
  • Adopting defense strategies: vetting candidates, demanding tangible policies, and refusing to support anyone who does not meet B1 standards
  • Pooling resources and buying Black—real economic self-defense
  • Supporting independent Black media outlets and newsletters that speak truth, not corporate talking points

Action Steps: What You Can Do Now

  • Question every Black leader—ask who they really serve
  • Support grassroots organizations, not just the well-funded, well-connected ones
  • Educate yourself and others—start with the resources in our newsletter.
  • Share this newsletter and discuss these issues openly—silence only benefits the betrayers
  • Invest in Black businesses and independent thinkers who are unafraid to challenge the status quo

Conclusion:

Black Americans must realize that liberation will never be granted by those invested in our oppression—no matter what color they are. It’s time to stop waiting for gatekeepers to save us and start building our own systems of power, justice, and truth. Unite and organize now! Remember, every dollar you spend, every vote you cast, and every voice you raise must be for the uplift of our people—no exceptions, no excuses.

Peace
